Try to follow the same regime prior to my PSA tests every 3 months or to. Gleason 6 (3+3), TURP surgery a year ago, yet my PSA still remains elevated with the most recent reading of 27, previous was 22. This seems to be contrary to what is normally seen with PSA values post TURP. PSMA-Pet scan few months ago only confirmed plenty of activity in the prostate and nothing apparently outside which is good. Had a conversation with a radiation oncologist at BC Cancer Agency and we both agree that unless the number of cores with cancer increases on my next biopsy (currently 2 test positive), no reason to get more invasive treatment. Not eligible for brachytherapy due to prior TURP.

The problem is people just can't control their eating habits. They just want a pill. Go to any store and people now look like cartoon characters. All you can do is to put out ALL THIS WONDERFUL INFORMATION and each of us can make the choice to follow it. My guess is 90 % of people watching this are basically healthy already.

It would have been kind of Dr. Winters to have left a specific written reference to "The Cell". She said the author's name so fast, it was unintelligible. When I did a google search there are dozens of books named "the cell".

I had Decipher test. It was not pivotal for deciding treatment but did confirm rationale for doing ADT. I was able to get a copy of the extended Decipher report. As a biomedical scientist it was interesting to me to learn more about the specific gene changes in my tumor.

Chemo may has some results but it kills you! You need Orthodox Church strict fast. Wednesdays and Fridays,you do not eat even oil: Just nuts and seeds: Once per day!!! Interesting. I had an mpMRI which showed a "lesion" identified as a PI-RADS 5, a highly clinically significant malignancy of an invasive nature. Well, I had a targeted biopsy by an experienced practitioner along with a systematic. Fortunately, no cancer was determined. mpMRI is not foolproof.

You know, until recently I hadn't realized that Mario updated his favorite way to tackle ED and it's a relief! Although what he previously suggested was pretty good, it was a real pain to follow... I just go'ogled the latest by Mario Volpstein, it's so much easier and potent now!

My husbands psa went up to seven over last 3 yrs or so. Mp mri only showed bph and i think inflammation. He had tge exosome prior to that and it only showed slight elevevation. I cant remember number off hand. I called lab and they confirmed prostatitis and i assume bph too, can raise their test. DRE showed nothing but mri said 76 cc. So we are back to still wondering does he get biopsy tgat doc wants or not. Even tho mri showed nothing and nothing in surrounding areas. All these tests and he is still pushed to biopsy

Dr. Emberton has brought to us years of experience with highly detailed information. I'm just about to get a prostate MRI here in Tallahassee, FL, and I have taken one page of notes for my urologist. The biopsy he insists upon is trans rectal (with antibiotics), and PSMA scans do not seem to be on his radar. Too bad there isn't a Dr. Emberton clone here in Florida.

i never heard of a PSA test. My first PSA was 16.8. DRE revealed a firmness on one side of my prostate. I get my Biopsy in 23 days. Im sweating bullets...should I be? what else could it be, i have no symptoms other than occassional slow urine start. Anyone weigh in on this.

OK, I got the “active surveillance” advice for my Gleason 6, I was 50 at the time. And I decided against it, thank god. I chose HIFU for treatment and through the course I found out I went from one tumor the size of a dime, to 2 tumors one the size of a nickel and the other as big as a quarter (found on MRI guided biopsy) in 6 months. And the doctors all said “that shouldn’t have happened, you don’t have small cell carcinoma”. The doctor that I was referred to for HIFU told me that had I waited I might have metastasized in a year, while no one could explain it that didn’t change the fact that my cancer had more then doubled in 6 months. Cancer free now for 12 years.

how abour using CREATINE having had prostate cancer? Had a prosectomy. Cancer came back after about two years or so. Had radation , am 0.0 PSA for a little while now.

I have BPH .82 yrs old and feel hypogonadal , no energy etc my PSA is 1.4 My blood is hypo Hb .......Will supplements of Iron and B 12 help being hypo gonadal

I informed the person who answered the telephone that I wanted to speak to someone on your staff who could address some questions of mine. She said that she would fine someone. She returns and tells me that no one is available, but she could answer my questions. To make a long story short, she was only able to answer two of my questions. She told me what your fees are and that you don't treat men with BPH!!?? Is there anyone I could speak to who can fully answer my questions, concerning the services you offer?

Doctor, My husband is 73; he doesn't want to go biopsy. His MRI reveals PIRADS-2 lesion. 1. First test: PSA total shows 16.57* ng/ml 2. Second test: psa total shows 10.700 ng/ml 3. After a gap of 3 months Shows psa 7.500 ng/ml What's your suggestion Doctor, please🙏

She tells me to mind my business and now she reckons the apple cider vinegar in water with a squeeze of lemon she doesn’t want to take it because she says it hurts her side when she drinks it ???Can you help ??
